The Martin Clinic

The aim of the Martin Clinic is to provide high quality integrative healthcare to those in need through a donation-based system that is made possible through the generosity of our patients, volunteers, and supporters. Patients who are able and willing to contribute financially to the running of the clinic are very welcome to do so. Patients unable to pay are also warmly welcome. So if professional healthcare delivered with warmth and compassion is what you’re looking for, we invite you in, regardless of  your income level.

To be eligible for free care from the Martin Clinic, you must be 200% below the Federal Poverty Level and not eligible for other healthcare services such as Medicaid or Medicare. Please click here for detailed figures. If you do not qualify for care through the Martin Clinic, our team serves other patients in an integrative clinic through a subscription-based model at Humanizing Medicine. We also offer a fully integrative approach to cancer care at Mistletoe Cancer Therapy.

The Martin Clinic takes its inspiration from Saint Martin of Tours, a 4th century figure who as a teenager converted to Christianity. Most notable of his many deeds took place on a blustery cold winter in France, where Martin was on duty as a Roman soldier. He encountered a near naked beggar. Martin removed his cloak and drew his military sword, cut his own cloak and shared it with the beggar. That night Martin dreamed that the beggar was Christ. After this his life was full of magnificent saintly deeds.

St. Martin, St. Martin, St. Martin rode through wind and snow. His horse so fast with him did go. St. Martin rode through weather rude, his cloak around him warm and good. In snow there sat a beggar near with cold his eyes so full with tears. “Please help me Martin in my need or I shall die – my word to heed” St. Martin’s eyes filled up with pain. He pulled upon the horse’s rein. St. Martin took his sword so true and cut his mantle right in two. St. Martin gave one half away. The beggar tried some thanks to say. St. Martin rides away so fast, with half a cloak against the frost.

Please note: In our efforts to serve our Martin Clinic Patients’ complete wellness we offer primary care, but do not accept walk-in appointments.
